I must begin by saying that I do not fault the artists at all. The concert I attended was the worst I have experienced. The email indicated that doors would open at 6:30, but it was not until 7:30 that the sections were opened for seating. When the sections finally opened, the lights were immediately dimmed, making it difficult to find my seat. Throughout the night, the sound was consistently off. There was a lot of downtime as people were constantly moving around on stage, unplugging and plugging things back in. The host's microphone did not work, and sound checks were being done during his dialogue. We had to wait a significant amount of time between each artist's set. It was a 30-minute gap between JaRule's performance and The Music of Hans Zimmer's band taking the stage. Even after the band started playing, background singers performed for another 20 minutes before the main artist appeared. When she finally came on stage at 11:22, she was fantastic, but her performance only lasted 38 minutes before she bid goodnight. The concert's organization and flow were unprofessional. Once again, I do not blame the artist, but in my opinion, this show was lackluster.
